美国方向
美国本科留学有四种主要申请方式，就如同中国大学有提前批次一样，美国本科也有类似的提前批次。分别是：ED.EA.RA.RD.
ED ( EARLY Decision )
ED即提前批次绑定录取。
只能申请一所学校，录取之后必须放弃其他学校的申请机会，一定要入读。
EA ( Early Action )
EA即非限制提前录取。
和ED（提前决定）的区别是，EA不具有唯一性、约束性，如果被EA的学校录取了，不强制要求入读该学校。
学生可以同时申请一所学校的ED和多所学校的EA，以及多学校的RD、RA。也就是说EA申请更为宽松，有把握的同学可以尝试一下，提前保底。
RA ( Rolling Admissioin )
RA即常规申请。
请截止日期晚于ED、EA一到两个月大多数同学采用此种申请方式。申请RD的时候有多重选择，可以同时申请多所RD的学校。
RD ( Regular Decision )
RD即常规录取。
无任何关于捆绑承诺和唯一排他的性质，可以同时申请多所大学的常规录取，录取后，可自行决定去或不去。
