伦敦艺术大学，简称“伦艺”或“UAL”，其前身为伦敦学院（The London Institute），于1986年成立于英国伦敦。UAL将世界上最著名的致力于艺术、设计，表演等相关领域的多所建于十九世纪的古老艺术学院联合。QS世界大学排名艺术与设计排行榜稳居世界第2名，本科世界排名第1名。UAL涌现了许多艺术，时尚，传媒等领域的杰出人才，培养了大量世界著名的艺术家，演员，设计师与艺术工作者，是所有艺术学子的“梦中情校”之一。

UAL拥有六大学院，不同学院开设不同的课程项目。UAL开设的专业不仅包括传统认知里的艺术门类，而且与时俱进，开设传媒、科技、文化、社会科学等多个交叉方向的艺术学科。为了促进艺术与科学相结合的研究，UAL设立五大研究中心，着重于艺术与计算机科学、社会学等前沿研究领域。

六大学院主要负责学生的培养和部分科研任务：其中坎伯韦尔艺术学院（Camberwell college of arts）和切尔西艺术学院（Chelsea college of arts）侧重于纯艺与设计；温布尔登艺术学院（Wimbledon college of arts）侧重于表演、影视以及与之相关的艺术设计；中央圣马丁学院（Central Saint martins）侧重于纯艺、3D设计与建筑、时尚及纺织品设计、视觉传达以及媒体等；伦敦时装学院（London college of fashion）侧重于时尚媒体、时尚设计和时尚管理等；伦敦传媒学院（London college of communication）则提供媒体、设计、影视相关的专业等。除此之外，在主要负责科研的五大科研中心里，创意人工智能中心（Creative computing institute）还提供一系列艺术设计与计算机科学交叉的前沿方向本科专业等。
